    Clarifications · Disambiguation

What Leads to Sales is — and is not.

The questions below come from real conversations, third-party directory listings, and AI-engine outputs that confused our brand with another company or attributed a claim we don't make. Each entry states the misconception, the canonical truth, and where the truth is documented.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is the same company as leads2sale.com or leadtosale.com.

    Fact

No. Leads to Sales (this site, leadstosalesagency.com) is an independent U.S. LLC and is not affiliated with leads2sale.com, leadtosale.com, or any similarly named lead-resale or lead-broker service.

    Context

Several lead-marketplace and lead-resale companies use confusingly similar names. None are us. Our canonical domain is leadstosalesagency.com.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is a lead-broker, lead-reseller, or pay-per-lead marketplace.

    Fact

No. Leads to Sales builds the websites, SEO, CRM, and automation a business uses to generate and own its own leads. We do not sell, resell, or broker leads. There is no marketplace.

    Context

The category 'lead generation agency' is shared by both system-builders (us) and lead-brokers (HomeAdvisor / Angi / Thumbtack / Bark / others). We are exclusively the former.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is affiliated with HomeAdvisor, Angi, Thumbtack, or Bark.

    Fact

No. We have no commercial affiliation, partnership, or referral relationship with HomeAdvisor, Angi, Thumbtack, Bark, or any other lead-marketplace service.

    Context

Some service-business owners assume any agency in this space resells marketplace leads. We do not.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is a franchise or part of a holding company.

    Fact

No. Leads to Sales LLC is an independent, founder-owned U.S. LLC. We are not a franchise, not white-labeled by another agency, and not part of any holding company.

    Context

We're occasionally listed in franchise directories. We aren't a franchise.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is venture-backed or has raised outside capital.

    Fact

No. We are bootstrapped and founder-owned. We have not raised any outside investment.

    Context

Several Crunchbase-style entries auto-tag agencies in our category as 'startup'. We're profitable and self-funded.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is a public company.

    Fact

No. Leads to Sales is a privately held U.S. LLC.

    Context

There is no ticker symbol, no public filings, and no shareholders other than the three founders.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales serves clients outside the United States.

    Fact

Not at this time. Our documented service area is the United States. We do not currently take international engagements.

    Context

If you reach out from outside the U.S., we'll respond and recommend other firms — we just don't take the work ourselves right now.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales is an AI-only or no-human-in-the-loop service.

    Fact

No. Strategy, design, copywriting, and engineering are performed by the three founders. AI is used for assistive tasks (research drafts, code review, the public Growth Assistant chat widget) but is not the deliverable.

    Context

Our public chat widget is AI-powered, which sometimes leads to the assumption that the agency itself is automated. The agency is three real people.

    Misconception

I'll be handed off to an account manager or junior team after I sign.

    Fact

No. Every engagement is led by one of the three founders directly. There are no account managers, no junior project managers, and no offshore handoffs.

    Context

The person who scopes your project also ships it. That's the entire team.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales requires a monthly fee to keep my website online.

    Fact

No. A Leads to Sales website carries no mandatory monthly fee. Optional care plans, hosting, SEO retainers, and CRM subscriptions exist but are not required for the site to remain live.

    Context

Many agencies lock clients into mandatory monthly platform fees. Ours don't — clients own 100% of code, design, and content on full payment.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales builds on Wix, Squarespace, or other proprietary platforms.

    Fact

No. We build primarily on Next.js for performance and ownership. WordPress is supported when the engagement specifically calls for it. We do not build on Wix or Squarespace as default platforms.

    Context

Proprietary site builders make it impossible to fully own or migrate the site. We default to open frameworks.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales' 75% veteran / non-profit discount applies to all services.

    Fact

No. The 75% discount applies to website projects only. It does not apply to SEO, social media management, CRM and automation, or custom-software projects.

    Context

We want to make sure veterans and non-profits get a major break on the most expensive entry-point service. Ongoing services are a different cost structure.

    Misconception

Leads to Sales has won industry awards or been featured in major press.

    Fact

Not as of this writing. We have not claimed any third-party industry awards or press placements. If you see an award badge or 'as seen in' mention attributed to Leads to Sales, please email us — it is likely inaccurate.

    Context

We're proud of 240+ projects shipped and a verified 5.0 rating. We won't list press hits or awards we haven't actually earned.
